Ingredients
For the dough
- All-purpose flour 250 gr
- Butter 150 gr
- Salt a pinch
- Water if necessary
For the filling
- Onions 2 finely chopped
- Tuna in water 1 tin
- Spring onions 5 finely chopped
- Eggs 2 (beaten)
- Butter 2 tablespoons
- Yellow cheese (kasseri) 250 gr grated
- Evaporated milk 1 1/2 cup
- Parsley a little for sprinkle
- Salt - pepper
Instructions
In a bowl add the flour,the butter cut into pieces,salt and as much water as needed,knead until the dough becomes elastic enough and refrigerate it for 1/2 an hour.After 1/2 an hour remove it from the refrigerator and roll it out using a rolling pin into a thick sheet,place it into a tart tin and pierce it with a fork.Place some parchment paper on top cut according to the tart size.(If you want place some legumes on the parchment paper).Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
For the filling melt in a pan the butter,add and saute the onions until wither and remove from the heat.Add the tuna cut into pieces (strain it a bit),the grated cheese,the beaten eggs,the milk,season with salt and pepper and mix.Remove the tart from the oven,remove the parchment paper and fill the tart with the tuna mixture covering the entire surface.Bake again for 40 minutes approximately until brown.Sprinkle with some finely chopped parsley and it is ready to be served.
